Schools Nature Photography Competition

How to Enter:

Take a landscape nature photo in Ireland including wildlife, plants, landscapes, farms, anything that captures the beauty of the outdoors.

Fill in our Competition Form below.

Prizes:

1st Prize: €400 One4all voucher + cover photo on the 2026 Senus Nature Calendar.

2nd and 3rd Prize: €100 One4all voucher each.

Top 12 Entries: Featured in the 2026 Senus Nature Calendar (including 2nd & 3rd Prize winners).

All featured entries will also receive a complimentary copy of the 2026 Senus Nature Calendar.

Bonus: Winning and featured entries will be celebrated on our socials, so your amazing nature shots get full recognition!

The winners will be announced on our website and social media, and the teacher of each winning student will be notified directly by email.

Required Teacher’s Consent

I confirm that the submitted photo is the original work of the student named above. No digital manipulation allowed e.g. AI generated images, edited images.

I confirm there are no people in the photo.

I confirm that the photo location provided (latitude/longitude) is a public/natural space and not a private residence.

I give permission for the submitted photo to be used for judging, publicity, social media, website, press coverage, and inclusion in the 2026 Senus Calendar.

I understand that copyright remains with the student photographer, but the organiser is granted the right to use the image for the purposes listed above, royalty-free.

I consent to the student’s first name, age, school, photo title and photo location being published alongside their photo.

I am the teacher of the student named above and consent to their participation in this competition.

How to find your photo’s latitude and longitude points (these will not by published publicly):

On iPhone (Photos app): Open the photo → tap info (ℹ️) or swipe up → coordinates will appear if location was on when taken.
On Android (Google Photos): Open photo → tap three dots or swipe up → view details → coordinates/map shown.
If not available: Open Google Maps → drop a pin at the photo location → copy the latitude and longitude (shown at bottom).

By providing GPS coordinates, you confirm that the photo was taken in a public/natural space and not at a private home or location that would identify the student’s residence.
